A little clarity, before you begin.

Questions are a good place to start. Here are some answers to help you find your next step.

Which countries does NextOf support?

The current website and planning guidance focus on Malaysia. Estate rules vary by country, and some vary within Malaysia. If you live elsewhere or have assets abroad, contact us about your circumstances before relying on a planning document.

Do I need a complete asset list before I start?

No. Start with what you remember and add details over time. If you already have an inventory, you can go straight to exploring your will or wasiat.

How do I sign up?

Choose “Start organising” to create an account in the NextOf app. Begin with one asset and add more details when you are ready.

Is the FREE plan really free forever?

Yes. The FREE plan has no time limit. Use it indefinitely with up to 5 assets, 1 trusted person, and 3 documents. Upgrade only when you need more capacity or advanced features.

Who is NextOf for?

NextOf is for anyone who wants their family to be prepared, whether you're organising your own estate, helping ageing parents or advising clients. You don't need a lawyer or a large estate to get started.

How long does it take to set up?

Most users complete their initial setup in under 15 minutes. You can always add more detail later, NextOf is designed to grow with your estate over time.

What's the difference between SECURE and LEGACY?

SECURE (RM99/yr) covers most families. With unlimited assets and documents, up to 5 trusted persons, Will / Wasiat & beneficiary planning, access rules, and audit log. LEGACY (RM149/yr) adds unlimited trusted persons, guardian assignment, and the Will / Wasiat Generator feature.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can upgrade or cancel your plan at any time from within the app. Changes take effect immediately.

What is the Will / Wasiat generation fee on LEGACY?

A separate charge may apply when you use will / wasiat generation or legal review. See the pricing page and confirm the fee shown before submitting a paid request.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as FPX (Malaysian online banking). Payment is processed securely.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The annual plan price is all-inclusive. The only additional charge is the Will / Wasiat Review Feature on LEGACY, which only applies if you use that specific feature.

Is my data private and secure?

Read our security approach for information about protection and access controls, and our privacy policy for how data is used and shared. Keep banking PINs, passwords, and recovery phrases out of your asset records.

Does NextOf store my passwords?

No. NextOf is not a password manager. We store instructions for how your family can gain access not the credentials themselves. This is a deliberate design decision for your security.

Who can see my estate information?

Only you and the trusted persons you explicitly assign. Access levels are configurable, you decide what each person can see and under what conditions.

What is a trusted person?

A trusted person is someone you designate to receive guidance from NextOf when needed. Typically a next of kin, executor, or close family member. They only receive access according to the rules you set.

Can I change or remove a trusted person?

Yes, at any time from within the app. You remain in full control of who has access and at what level.

What happens when a trusted person needs access?

NextOf guides them through a step-by-step process based on the instructions and access rules you've set. There is no automated triggering — access is guided and controlled.
